Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Feidong Song (“we”) handles information when you use Together Alarm.

Information we collect

• Account information, such as your email address, authentication identifiers, username, and optional profile image.
• App content, including alarm settings, voice recordings or audio files you choose to upload, the friend you choose to share a voice with, friend relationships and requests, wake activity, reactions, blocks, and safety reports.
• Basic operational information needed to provide the service, such as your time-zone offset and authentication/session data.

How we use information

We use information only to authenticate users, operate alarms and private friend features, support account features, prevent abuse, respond to reports, troubleshoot failures, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Voice sharing

A personal voice is private to you unless you explicitly select an accepted friend. The recipient can preview it and choose whether to use it for an alarm; receiving a voice never changes or activates an alarm automatically. Recipients can remove a shared voice, report the sender, or block the sender. Do not record or upload another person without their permission.

Service providers

Apple processes Sign in with Apple information. Convex hosts authentication records, application data, private audio storage, and backend functions. Expo/EAS and Apple may process build, distribution, notification, device, or diagnostic information under their own terms. We require service providers to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable law.

Alarms and device permissions

Together Alarm requests microphone access only when you choose to record a voice. You can instead select a compatible audio file. Alarms are scheduled through Apple’s AlarmKit on supported iOS versions, with local notifications used as a compatibility fallback. A selected voice is downloaded to the app’s private on-device sounds directory so iOS can play it. You can change microphone, alarm, and notification access in iOS Settings. Together Alarm does not request precise location, contacts, camera, or advertising tracking permission.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and app data while your account is active or as needed to operate and secure the service. You can delete a voice from the Voices screen and delete your account from Settings → Delete account. Account deletion removes the Together Alarm account and associated alarms, stored voices, wake history, friendships, reactions, blocks, and reports, except information we must retain by law or temporarily retain in protected backups. A voice already downloaded for a scheduled alarm is replaced when the receiving app next synchronizes its alarms.

Children

Together Alarm is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. Do not use the service if you are below the applicable age.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Information may be processed in countries other than yours, subject to appropriate protections. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update your username, control notifications, block users, report abuse, or delete your account in the app. For access, correction, privacy, or deletion questions, contact us.
